About TAUS Human Language Project

The Human Language Project is run by TAUS, an Amsterdam-based language data organization, and builds language data for AI and machine translation with a focus on under-represented languages and dialects. Workers translate, record speech, annotate errors and evaluate output, and a current project records non-native English speakers based in the US or UK. Each task has a set fee that is emailed before you claim tasks, but rates are not published. Payments are weekly for the previous week's work, and the payout provider is not named.

Who can apply

You need language skills and stable internet, but no professional background. Eligibility depends on the project, such as US or UK residency for the non-native English voice project.
