About Veyo
Veyo arranges non-emergency medical transportation for Medicaid members. Independent driver providers take riders to appointments such as dialysis, therapy and doctor visits. Veyo says pay varies by region and that no commissions or fees are deducted. Electronic payments are sent once a week.
Who can apply
Drivers must be 21 or older, licensed for at least 3 years, with no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years, no DUI in 7 years and no major criminal violations in 5 years. The vehicle must be a 2006 or newer 4-door sedan or standard SUV seating 4 (2001 or newer in some states), insured in your name and pass inspection. CPR and ADA/HIPAA training are required. Veyo operates in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin, and onboarding takes 3 to 7 days.
