About Hitch

Hitch runs long-distance intercity rideshare trips on fixed routes, such as Dallas to Houston or Miami to Orlando. Drivers reserve trips in advance and drive scheduled legs between cities. Hitch says drivers are paid on every leg, with or without passengers, but it does not publish rates. Drivers can cash out when the ride ends.

Who can apply

Drivers must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license and must pass a background check. You need insurance, registration and a full-size sedan or larger, model year 2016 or newer. Hitch lists 30 Texas routes and 12 Florida routes.
