About UZURV

UZURV is a rideshare company for older adults and people with disabilities, mostly ADA paratransit and healthcare trips booked by transit agencies, insurers and nonprofits. Independent contractor drivers use their own car, set their own hours and choose trips in the UZURV Drive app. The pay for each trip is shown before you accept it, and UZURV says it tends to be 20 to 30% more per trip than typical rideshare. Dollar rates and payout timing are not published.

Who can apply

Drivers must be 25 or older with a US license and at least 3 years of uninterrupted US driving history, and must pass criminal, sex offender registry, driving record and drug screening checks. Some markets also require fingerprinting. The car must be a 4-door, 2017 or newer (2020 or newer in Dallas and Phoenix), with no ads, rentals or salvage titles. You must complete ADA, HIPAA and defensive driving training. Markets include Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, DC, Houston, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix, Portland and Richmond.
