About Tutored by Teachers

Tutored by Teachers places experienced US teachers in part-time virtual tutoring for K-12 students in partner school districts, teaching small groups or one-on-one in math, ELA, English language development and science. Engagements follow school terms and run 14 to 30 weeks, a few hours a week at set times. A current K-5 posting pays up to $32 per hour of tutoring plus a 10% bonus; work isn't guaranteed and depends on district demand.

Who can apply

You need experience as a US classroom teacher in math or ELA, online teaching experience and comfort with Zoom or Teams; an active teaching credential is a plus. You must be available for the engagement's set times, such as weekday mornings.
