Tutor.com, owned by The Princeton Review, offers on-demand online tutoring to K-12, college and adult learners through chat and a shared whiteboard. Tutors log on whenever they are available. Tutor.com pays a set hourly rate that depends on the subjects you tutor, plus incentives for high-quality tutoring, but it shares exact rates only after applicants pass the application and subject exams. Tutors are paid directly by Tutor.com on a set schedule, with no invoicing.

Who can apply

You must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship (F-1, OPT and H-1B are not accepted) and live in the US or Puerto Rico; other territories are excluded. Applicants must be at least a college sophomore at an accredited 4-year university or hold a 4-year degree, and must pass subject exams. A Windows PC is required; Macs work only when running Windows through Boot Camp or Parallels.
