About Rides2U

Rides2U is a pre-scheduled ride service for airport, campus and business trips, based in South Bend, Indiana. Its operations team assigns rides, and riders can request a driver by name. Rides2U gives example pay rather than rates: $170 to $400 for a South Bend to Chicago O'Hare round trip of about 5 hours, and $500 to $700 for some large-vehicle airport round trips. Drivers are 1099 contractors paid through Stripe; payout timing is not published. Rides2U provides commercial insurance and occupational accident coverage.

Who can apply

The driver terms require you to be 21 or older with a valid, unrestricted license, and drivers aged 21 or 22 need 3 years of unrestricted driving history. The terms give a vehicle age limit of 10 years in one section and 12 in another. You need personal auto insurance, and drivers who joined on or after February 1, 2026 also need a rideshare or commercial endorsement. Cities include South Bend, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Indianapolis, West Lafayette, Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Atlanta, New Orleans and Oxford, Mississippi.
