About Provado Mobile Health
Provado Mobile Health, a Modivcare affiliate, contracts independent drivers to take health plan members to pre-scheduled medical appointments, often recurring dialysis trips. Routes run on weekday daytime schedules received in advance, and no medical care is involved. Pay varies by market: postings list about $100 to $250 per day in parts of Maine, and guaranteed minimums of $120 per day in Sacramento, $125 in the Fresno area and $150 in San Francisco. Drivers are 1099 contractors paid weekly by direct deposit.
Who can apply
Drivers must be 21 or older, licensed for at least 2 years, and the registered owner of a clean mid-size or larger 4-door car (no vans) that passes Provado's inspection. The minimum model year varies by posting, from 2009 to 2015. You need a clean background with no felonies or violent crimes in the past 7 years, a clean driving record and a smartphone, and some postings require a drug screen. Provado provides free CPR, First Aid and passenger safety courses. Openings are posted by area, and you must live in the posted area.
