Lingoda

About Lingoda

Lingoda is a Berlin-based online language school. Freelance teachers run small-group and one-on-one classes in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and other languages on Zoom, using Lingoda's CEFR-aligned materials and booking classes months or hours ahead. Teacher pay rates are not published. Teachers invoice Lingoda, and its Teacher Relations team handles on-time payment, though the schedule is not stated.

Who can apply

You need C2-level command of the language you teach, a certificate to teach it as a foreign language, teaching experience and comfort speaking English. You must be legally able to work as a freelancer and have high-speed internet, a camera and a quality headset. Through the Teacher Ambassador program, teachers earn EUR 100 for each referred student who buys a paid subscription, added to their monthly invoice.
