Imagine Learning is a K-12 education company that hires part-time remote Virtual Teachers for Imagine Edgenuity and its virtual academies, along with Online Tutors. Virtual Teachers grade student assignments and support students by chat, phone and email, while Online Tutors give 1:1 chat and audio tutoring across K-12 subjects. Posted pay is $20.50 to $22.00 an hour for Virtual Teachers and $18.87 to $20.50 an hour for Online Tutors. Both are W-2 roles paid through payroll, and the pay schedule is not published.

Who can apply

Virtual Teachers need a state teaching license in one of the listed states (CT, MD, KS, OR, FL, MI, NJ, SD and RI, for specific subjects) and weekday availability from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Online Tutors need a bachelor's in education or a related field, at least one year of K-12 tutoring or teaching and fingerprint clearance. These are part-time employee roles, not contract gigs, and Imagine Learning says it hires Online Tutors throughout the year into a talent pool.
