About huntr

huntr is an AI red-teaming platform run by Palo Alto Networks, formerly Protect AI, that bills itself as the first bug bounty platform for AI and machine learning. Participants pick a challenge and try to get past guardrails and safety filters on AI systems. Earnings come from competition prizes, not hourly pay, and only top finishers share each challenge's prize pool, such as a current $15,000 pot. Prizes are paid through Stripe Connect at the end of each month and can take up to two months after validation, or you can donate them to charity.

Who can apply

You must be 18 or older and live in a country supported by Stripe Connect, and residents of Italy are not eligible. Payouts require identity verification, winnings are not guaranteed, and you are responsible for your own taxes.
