Figure Index

About Figure Index

Index is an app from Figure AI, the humanoid robot maker, that pays people to film themselves doing everyday chores and tasks at home while wearing a recording device. The footage trains Helix, the AI behind Figure's robots, and Index also books creators for in-home and business service jobs. Pay is by the minute of accepted video, but the per-minute rate is not published, and Figure says it has paid out more than $15 million to creators. Payout method and timing are shown only in the app.

Who can apply

Access runs through a waitlist, and the App Store listing says demand is very high. You need the Index app on iOS 18 or later or Android, and Figure provides a recording device after you sign up. Index launched publicly in August 2026 and is offered in more than 105 countries, with full eligibility details only in the app.
