Contently is a content marketing company whose freelance network connects writers, editors, designers and videographers with brand teams in finance, healthcare, travel and technology. Once approved, you pitch editors and take assignments such as articles, case studies and reported stories. Rates are set per assignment, and Contently has a kill-fee policy. Payment goes to your Contently balance when you submit and is cashed out to PayPal, usually within 4 business days.

Who can apply

Register, add portfolio work and complete a platform tutorial; Contently reviews your work for client fit, and approval isn't guaranteed. You need a PayPal account. Many approved freelancers get few assignments.
