7Sage is a law school admissions and test prep company that hires part-time Writing Consultants to give written feedback on law school personal statements, diversity statements and resumes and to meet clients on calls. It also hires LSAT and SAT/ACT tutors and part-time law school and college admissions consultants. 7Sage states pay of $50 to $80 an hour for LSAT tutoring sessions plus $20 an hour for prep, and $40 to $60 an hour to start for SAT/ACT tutors. Pay for Writing Consultants and admissions consultants is not published, and neither is payout method or timing.

Who can apply

Writing Consultants need one of an MFA in creative writing, a JD from a T6 law school, a PhD in English, law school admissions experience, or a published book or book deal, and they apply by emailing editors@7sage.com. LSAT tutors need an official LSAT score of 172 or higher, 15 hours a week during the July to November busy season and must not be attending law school in 2027, while admissions consultants need at least a year in a law school or US undergraduate admissions office. Any time zone is accepted, tutors may work for other companies, and writing work is year-round but busiest from August to December.
