Choice of Games

About Choice of Games

Choice of Games publishes text-based interactive novels written in its ChoiceScript language. Authors get a $10,000 advance with 25% royalties or a $15,000 advance with 10% royalties, paid in milestones from $100 for a pitch through chapter, draft and final-draft payments, and keep their intellectual property. Each game is a long project, often hundreds of thousands of words, with a lead editor.

Who can apply

Start by emailing only your CV. If your background fits, you're invited to send a writing sample, then concepts and an outline; the sample and concepts are unpaid. It has limited room for new writers. Writers under 18 need a parent or guardian to co-sign.
