About Truked

Truked is a new pickup-truck hauling app in the Charlotte area that launched in 2026. Drivers are independent contractors who haul items for customers in their own pickup truck, keep 85% of every fare plus 100% of tips, and pay their own fuel, tolls and insurance. Truked's example shows a 10-mile job paying $60.38 leaving the driver $51.32 before tip. Payouts go out twice a week, on Monday and Thursday, through Stripe.

Who can apply

You must be 21 or older with at least 3 years of driving experience, a pickup truck, a driver's license, registration and personal auto insurance (at least $50,000/$100,000 bodily injury coverage for policies written after July 1, 2025), and pass a background check. Sign-up is in the Truked app; it currently serves only the Charlotte metro.
