About Truck It
Truck It is an on-demand hauling app where drivers with a pickup truck, SUV or van bid on jobs such as moving furniture, store pickups and junk runs. You set your own price and hours and keep 80% of each accepted bid plus 100% of tips; the 20% platform cut is the only fee, and the driver app is free with no subscription. Earnings are paid to your bank through Stripe every weekday. The driver app is actively updated but has a low App Store rating (2.7 stars), and Truck It does not say whether drivers are contractors.
Who can apply
You need a pickup truck, SUV or van, a valid US driver's license, active vehicle insurance, a smartphone with the Truck It Driver app and a bank account, and you must pass a background check. Truck It says it operates nationwide, but job volume varies by area.
