Temper lets self-employed workers pick shifts in hospitality, retail, logistics and facility services from more than 5,000 companies, negotiate their rate and build pools of regular clients. In the UK it says workers average £13 to £17 an hour, with a minimum of £13 an hour from February 2026. Direct payment can arrive within minutes.
