About Talkspace (therapists)
Talkspace pays licensed therapists, mostly as 1099 contractors, to provide online therapy by video and messaging. Its published rates for a 60-minute live session are $90 in California, $78 in DC, MA, MD, NY, VA and WA, and $70 in other states; messaging pay depends on the plan. Payment is by direct deposit twice a month, and there are no joining fees.
Who can apply
You need an active US clinical license (or an associate license with your own supervisor), malpractice insurance, a CAQH profile, an NPI and a background check, and you must live in the US. There's no minimum number of hours, but you must answer messages 5 days a week.
