About Synack Red Team

The Synack Red Team is a vetted, private community of security researchers who test Synack's client systems. Members are paid for vulnerability findings, which Synack says typically pay $500 to several thousand dollars, and for checklist-style missions that pay $25 to $50 (ad-hoc missions $100 or more), with mission pay guaranteed if completed on time. Members are independent contractors, and US members get a 1099.

Who can apply

You must be 18 or older and apply under your legal name with verifiable certifications, CVEs or security profiles. Vetting has five steps: a resume review, a technical assessment, a background and ID check, a behavioral interview and onboarding. You can't work for another crowdsourced security company at the same time.
