About ALS Clinical Studies

ALS runs clinical trials of beauty, cosmetic, skin, hair and body care products at labs in Irving, Torrance, Phoenix and Purchase (formerly BioScreen and Reliance Clinical Testing). Pay varies by study; the Irving site says studies pay $75 to $400 and lists recent studies at $150 and $250, and it offers a $50 referral bonus. Some studies include skin prick or patch tests. You are paid when the study is completed.

Who can apply

You must be 18 to 70, in good general health, able to read and understand English, and have a valid US government photo ID. You can't be on asthma or diabetes medication, have an autoimmune disorder, or be pregnant, nursing or planning a pregnancy. Some studies are for young children with a parent present, and open studies vary by location.
