ShiftKey is a marketplace where licensed nurses, CNAs, therapists and dental professionals pick up per diem shifts at hospitals, skilled nursing, assisted living, behavioral health and dental facilities. Professionals bid the hourly rate they want on each shift, and ShiftKey does not publish pay rates. Pay arrives moments after your work log is approved, or by weekly bank deposit.

Who can apply

You need an active healthcare license or certification, such as RN, LPN, CNA, therapist or dental credentials, and you upload your credentials in the app. Professionals work as independent contractors, with benefits available through Stride Health. ShiftKey says it operates in more than 120 US markets but does not list specific states.
