About Proof Notary Network

Proof, formerly Notarize, runs a network of on-demand notaries who take remote online notarization video calls from its queue. Notaries can act as the notary, a remote witness or a trusted referee. Proof's published pay is $5 for the first seal plus $1 for each additional seal on retail and business calls, $25 per full real estate transaction and $20 per HELOC. Payouts run through Stripe Connect on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule.

Who can apply

On-demand notaries must hold a commission in Florida, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Texas or Virginia. You need a free NNA ID number, NSA certification with a background check, and E&O insurance; NSA certification has its own cost through the NNA. Notaries in other states can join a waitlist or use Proof's NST mode to serve their own clients.
