Nursa is a staffing marketplace where RNs, LPNs, CNAs, caregivers and similar clinicians pick up PRN (per diem) shifts at more than 4,500 healthcare facilities. Nursa publishes average rates that vary by city, including about $46.66 to $68.69 per hour for RNs, $35.63 to $49.09 for LPNs and $22 to $32.63 for CNAs, with ICU RN shifts up to about $82 per hour. Instant Pay is available for eligible shifts through a free Nursa Direct account, or to an external debit card for $2.99 or 2%. Otherwise, pay arrives in 2 to 3 business days.

Who can apply

You need an active license or certification, such as RN, LPN, CNA, CG, QMAP or GNA, and you upload your license and experience when you sign up. Clinicians work as 1099 independent contractors, so no taxes are withheld. Nursa operates in 31 US states.
