McCormick, the spice and flavor company, pays consumers to taste foods, snacks and beverages for its flavor development. Most sessions are at its testing center in Hunt Valley, Maryland, on weekdays during the day or evening, and some tests are done at home. Pay depends on the type and length of the test. McCormick picks testers from its database by demographic fit, and you can take part up to four times a year, once every three months.

Who can apply

Register with the US form on McCormick's consumer testing page (Canada and the UK have their own forms). When you are invited, you answer a few screening questions to find out whether you qualify for that test. In-person tests are at 202 Wight Avenue, Hunt Valley, MD.
