Indeed Flex

About Indeed Flex

Indeed Flex, formerly Syft, is a staffing app owned by Indeed. Workers book temporary shifts and temp-to-hire roles in warehouses, hospitality, retail, facilities and call centers. Its Dallas listings show $15 to $18 per hour for assemblers, picker-packers and distribution associates, and pay varies by role and city. Pay goes to your bank account weekly, and Same Day Pay lets workers take up to 50% of their wages an hour after a shift.

Who can apply

Workers must be 18 or older with the right to work in the US, and must complete an app profile, interview and verification. US markets include Austin, Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Columbus and Ontario, California, and the app also operates in the UK. Indeed Flex offers medical, dental and vision benefits to eligible workers, which suggests a W-2 staffing model, but the pages reviewed did not state how workers are classified. A refer-a-friend program is mentioned, but the amount was not stated.
