About Good Gamer Group
Good Gamer Group is a free gaming research community run by the research agency Interpret. Members apply to paid studies: playtests of unreleased games and hardware ($125 to $1,000), focus groups ($125 to $300), interviews ($75 to $300) and surveys ($5 to $20). Most studies are online from home, and some are in person at labs in Culver City, Dallas and Seattle; recent examples include a $250 four-hour fighting-game playtest and a $150 smart-glasses study. Payment arrives within 1 to 2 business days through Tremendous, free as a prepaid Visa or gift card or with a 6% fee for PayPal, Venmo or bank transfer.
Who can apply
You need to play video games on any platform and live in the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Brazil, Australia or South Korea; US panels are 18 and older. Online studies need a webcam and computer, and some need a specific phone, console or VR headset. You sign an NDA for unreleased games, and US members earning over $2,000 a year need a W-9.
