Bellhop

About Bellhop

Bellhop is a moving company that books local movers through its app. You set your availability, and Bellhop matches you with moves near you; moves start at 8 AM or 2 PM, last 2 to 8 hours and are busiest on weekends. Bellhop says movers make up to $21 an hour including tips and bonuses, are paid weekly and get on-the-job training. Separate truck-driver roles need your own box truck and a USDOT number.

Who can apply

You must be over 18, able to lift 100 pounds, and have a smartphone, a checking account and reliable transportation, because moves can be up to 30 miles away. Movers apply as Bellhop preferred providers through city pages such as Atlanta's; no prior moving experience is needed.
