About Fable
Fable pays people with disabilities who use assistive technology to test websites and apps and give accessibility feedback. Community members can also take paid surveys about the lived experience of disability. Fable says testers earn a competitive hourly wage in line with the technology industry, but the exact rate is not published. The payment schedule and method were not stated on its community page.
Who can apply
Testers must be adults with vision, mobility or cognitive accessibility needs who use assistive technology daily, such as screen readers, magnifiers, alternative navigation or braille displays. The survey track is open to anyone who identifies as living with a disability. All members must live in Canada, the US or the UK and work as independent contractors. Onboarding includes a call with a Fable team member.
