About CPT Labs
CPT Labs (Consumer Product Testing Company) runs clinical studies of cosmetics and personal care products at its New Jersey labs. Panelists test makeup, deodorant, face products, sunscreen, hair color and more, and CPT publishes pay by study type: for example $50 to $75 for makeup, $70 to $300 for sunscreen and phototoxicity, $200 to $400 for repeat patch tests and $35 to $200 for hair color. Patch, SPF and phototoxicity studies involve repeated skin or UV exposure and can cause irritation or allergic reactions. The payment method is not published.

Complete a health profile at the Fairfield facility, bringing ID and a list of your medications; eligibility is set study by study. Repeat patch studies take place in Boonton, and some studies are for children.
