Bambino

About Bambino

Bambino is a babysitting app where local families book and pay sitters. Sitters set their own hourly rate, and all payments run through the app. Payouts go through Stripe 2 to 3 business days after each booking. Any fees charged to sitters were not stated on the pages reviewed.

Who can apply

Sitters can start at 13 (14 in some states), which is unusually young for a gig platform. Levels run from Junior (13 to 15) and Standard (15 to 17) to Advanced (18 and older) and Elite, which requires a background check, at least 6 sits in 60 days and a rating of 4.8 or higher. Each sitter needs one recommendation, and minors need parental consent to receive payouts. The cities Bambino serves were not listed.
