Contracted pays contributors to record real-world tasks from their own environment, such as household chores, cooking, repairs and vehicle use, following project prompts about what to capture. Recordings go through quality checks, approved contributors can get repeat work, and the footage is used to train AI and robotics models. Pay is shown per project in the app; Contracted does not publish rates or payout methods.

Who can apply

You must be 18 or older with access to a real environment you can record safely and a reliable internet connection. No experience is needed, and training is provided; some projects involve screening or an interview. Contracted says there are no registration fees or deposits, and it provides recording equipment free for eligible projects.
